Abbot’s Hospital offers residents the opportunity to live within a supportive and active community.
However, we also need to preserve the magnificent building and artefacts of this unique heritage.

For £25 pa you can become a Friend of Abbot’s Hospital. In addition to knowing that your
money is helping to preserve this unique building Friends will receive two newsletters a
year, invitations to attend special events at the Hospital and a small promotional gift to help
spread the word about the work we do.

The original endowment of Archbishop Abbot has not kept pace with inflation and the modern requirements of an almshouse.

Leaving a legacy or In Memoriam Gift to Abbot’s Hospital would help sustain a significant
part of Guildford’s heritage that, 400 years after its foundation, continues to provide shelter
for local people.

Instead of presents why not ask guests at your special day to donate to help share a unique
and splendid heritage with the wider community.
